Appleton... an outstanding village primary school since 2008Appleton CE Primary School is a small primary school in a rural setting close to Oxford. We are proud to have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted since 2008.
Our passionate and creative staff never stop looking for ways to build and deepen the experiences that we offer our children throughout our broad and balanced curriculum, to enhance all aspects of the children’s academic, social and spiritual living and learning. This ensures that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. Our vision of “building wisely for life” permeates throughout the school. This is supported by our growth-mindset approach, which encourages and develops effective behaviours for learning, such as resilience and empathy. Our Christian values underpin all the work we do as we encourage every child to show kindness, respect and responsibility. We recognise the importance of every parent, family member and carer as an active partner in their child’s education and cherish their interest and support.
