This morning in our collective worship we talked about Safer Internet Day on their theme of “Together for a better internet”.
We talked about the ways that we use technology, and also thought about how we need to ask a grown up if we feel upset or worried about something on the internet. We also talked about consent and how we need to ask before sharing something, like a photograph of a friend. As well as that, we looked at how we share information online, including giving information such as competition entries.
This collective worship formed part of our ongoing work on internet safety in school. We start this with our very youngest children and revisit it very regularly, especially as the children grow and technology changes.
