We had a fantastic visit to Crocodiles of the World today. We were very excited to see the different animals, learn about Australian animals and about different animals groups such as reptiles. We took part in a variety of activities including a meerkat feed/talk, Nile crocodile feed/talk and and an otter feed/talk. We then had a session with our leader Colin who is Australian and talked to us about some of the Australian animals that he had worked with along with telling us more information about a variety of reptiles. We were Fearless Foxes and got to touch a python called Malcolm and a 3-year old American alligator called Jackson. We learnt that reptiles including snakes are not as scary as we are led to believe. After our talk we had some more time to explore the venue and see more animals, including a real life kookaburra! Take a look at some of our photos from our visit:
