This week in Year 2 Cole Class.....

This week we completed our work on the book Here We Are and shared it with the rest of Key Stage One in Collective Worship.
We have also been doing some assessments in reading, writing and maths to help us identify where the children are and to inform our planning for the rest of the term  The children have all worked really hard and tried their best. 
In science this term, we are using the book Traction Man is Here to investigate the uses of materials. This week we looked at  which materials float and sink to help us make a flotation vest for Traction Man. There are a few pictures below. 
In PE we have done some skipping and some multiskills, travelling over the ladders in different ways.
