This week has been yet another busy week in Thames Class. We have produced lots of lovely work and enjoyed lots of Christmas activities. I have been so impressed with the children's hard work this term and they have all earned a well deserved break over Christmas. In English this week we completed the first draft of our newspaper articles based on the crimes committed by the Three Little Pigs. We then edited and improved our writing before producing our final drafts. Have a look at some of their awesome work below. In Maths this week we started our new topic Position & Direction. We revisited coordinates in the first quadrant and produced some Christmas themed pictures. Here are a few examples of the children's work. In Art we completed our murals depicting modern life in Britain. I am really impressed with the quality of the artwork produced by Thames Class! Here is some of their awesome work. We finished the week by enjoying some Christmas crafts and a film, Thames Class have definitely worked hard enough this term to enjoy this little treat. Thank you to The Friends for providing these lovely activities. Finally, thank you all for my lovely gifts and I wish you all a Merry Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing a revitalized Thames Class in 20201.
