This week the children have worked really hard on writing their own versions of the Stardust story, putting into practice all the elements we have been working on this term. This is the first long piece of independent writing we have done and we are really looking forward to reading their work.
I maths we have continued to work on place value, using a place value chart, placing numbers on a number line and partitioning numbers in different ways. In Science this week we learned all about recycling and in particular the importance and impact of recycling glass. We are all now trying to be Glass Guardians. In Topic we used the information we researched last week about the first moon landings to write non-chronological reports. Between rain showers we had fun in PE practising for the first inter-house competition of this year using football skills. Have a lovely weekend everyone, one more week until half term. Mrs Lappin and Mrs James.
