![]() Ther In English we have continued to work on our Stardust story. We have explored rhyme, used superlatives (words that end in –est) and adverbs (words ending in –ly) to describe and used the conjunction ‘because’ to add detail. In maths we have continued our learning about the place value of digits in a 2-digit number using different representations in a part-whole model , such as dienes, place value counters, tens frames and numicon. In Topic we investigated attempts to land on the moon and learned who the successful explorers were. In science this week we investigated which fabrics would prove to be hardwearing for Traction Man to wear when on his outdoor adventures. We looked at the structure of different fabrics using magnifying glasses and then tested them for durability. You can see Traction Man on the assault course below. Today we talked about Harvest Festival and made pumpkins which have been sent home this evening.
