Another busy week draws to a close. In English this week we finished off our work on the Stardust story. We have practiced alliteration, writing and punctuating questions, creating dialogue, action and sound sentences and using expanded noun phrases. Next week, the children will be using what we have practiced to write their own story based on Stardust. In maths we have continued to work on place value using a part whole model. We have then used the numbers in the model to write related addition and subtraction sentences. For example: In topic we learned about the first moon landings and in science we found out about Charles Mackintosh who invented a new material.
Have a lovely weekend.
