Before half term Thames Class visited the John Radcliffe hospital to take part in the Injury Minimisation programme. During their visit children had the opportunity to tour the Emergency Department or minor injury unit. They were also taught emergency life skills including basic life support, how to use an automated external defibrillator, how to put someone into the recovery position and the management of choking.
