School Games National Summit 2019
On Tuesday 19th November I presented our work on being an active school to School Games Organisers and National Governing Bodies of Sport at the School Games National Summit in Coventry. Despite being a rather nerve wracking experience speaking in front of sport experts, it was great to be given the opportunity to share the work that we do to be an active school. Thank you to everyone in our school community for supporting our work on this. A big thank you to Danny Taylor (our local School Games Organiser) for all of his help and support too. It was a privilege to have been recognised by the Youth Sport Trust for our work in this area and to showcase our wonderful children at a National event. I also had the opportunity to listen to ex-England footballer Phil Neville talk about his work with the Lionnesses which was great! We are looking forward to working with the Youth Sport Trust again later in the year to create a Case Study video to showcase our active school work. Miss Leggett
