Appleton CE Primary School is a happy and welcoming school community where every child is encouraged to follow Jesus’ example of love and care and to work hard to be the best they can be for themselves and the good of others. Our Christian values underpin all the work we do as we encourage every child to show kindness, respect and responsibility.
Our passionate and creative staff never stop looking for ways to build and deepen the experiences that we offer our children throughout our broad and balanced curriculum, to enhance all aspects of the children’s academic, social and spiritual living and learning. This ensures that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. Our vision of “building wisely for life” permeates throughout the school. This is supported by our growth-mindset approach, which encourages and develops effective behaviours for learning, such as resilience and empathy.
We pride ourselves in our strong community links with St Laurence’s Church in Appleton, the local parish community and beyond. We also have close working relationships with our families. We recognise the importance of every parent, family member and carer as an active partner in their child’s education and cherish their interest and support.
