Year 4 had a special morning on Wednesday. A tennis coach came in to teach the children and give them a taster for playing Tennis in a competitive game. This followed on well from our previous PE focus of Tennis.
During maths we learned about how to tell the difference between a regular an irregular polygon. We worked with a partner to sort shapes into regular and irregular polygons then named them according to the number of sides.
We made vegetable stew to imagine how the Vikings might have eaten on a winter day. We took it in turns to peel and chop the vegetables then had a taste after it was cooked.
